This is one type of engine kit used by APA just click on it and you can see closer lookat the kit. Top viwe of an engine block after it's has been painted. This picture show a good view of the honeing of the bores. A crank shaft and block with main berings and oil jet's.

All engine's are chemicaly cleaned, this picture shows main bearing and oil jet's. Anther look at all the upper main's and oil jet's you can see the bore, click on the pic and look at the bolt hole's you can see how good the chemical clean's. The crank shaft is in the block and the main cap's are on. Set of 4 diesel pistons on rod with rings. Just a look at the rod's and in the plasic on top right that go in the tappet cover in the breather hole it stop the engine running on it's own oil click on the photo and you can see it better.

The white grease around the bores is assembly grade grease,oil is good but we send engines out all over australia and it can up to 3 month befor the engine is started oil runs off and drys up,the assembly grease will be there on start up. The front cover and oil pump are on the oil pump is under the front seal thats were the red greece is,water pump is also on and the blue sealant is for the genuine toyota metal gasket not to leak. The short mot motor is ready for the headgasket and head. Genuine head gasket is on the short motor for a better look just click on on the pic. Just a look at the head befor its put on.

Head is on and 8kg tension put on the head bolts. Head bolts are marked with white marker for the next stage. The head bolts have been 90 degrees you will see it better if you click here. This is the third stage the head bolts have been turned 90 degrees so thats 8kg +90+90. The engine is almost there this is just a side look at it. This is just anther look at the side of the engine.

A front look at the engine with a new time belt on. A front look with harmonic balancer. The basic timing has been set when the belt was fitted and now the plunger lift in the back of the pump is been set with a dial gage. Just a look at the head face. Glow pluge been fitted.

The assembly greese as you can see it every where were new bearings or any moving parts are. Head with new injectors fitted. inlet manfold is now on. Engine is been fitted to the ute. Engine is finshed and running.
